![]() The Title tool provides a variety of predefined title styles. You can also change the style and size of the text by selecting the box, then clicking one of the formatting tools in the top toolbar. Drag the text box to the location on the screen where you want the text to appear. Click the “T” icon in the Tools panel, then click inside the title window. The shot where your playhead is located becomes the background for the intro. Type a name for the intro in the Name field, then click “OK” to open the Title tool. Press “Ctrl-T” to open the New Title dialog box. Open your video project in Adobe Premiere Pro, then place the playhead at the beginning of the clip, over the shot to use as a placeholder for your intro. You can reuse titles or create a base title, then modify the title for your intro, credits and any other text block you want to display in your video. Once created, titles are saved as individual elements in the project file. ![]() Any text that overlaps the outer border will be cut out of the slide. The outer square indicates the edge of the title box. The inner square indicates the “safe" zone, where you can design your intro without the possibility of the title elements bleeding off the screen in the final clip. When you first open the title tool, you will notice two squares around the work area.
